About Careers NSW
Careers NSW is a new program announced by the Premier of NSW in March 2021 to provide career guidance and advice to all NSW residents at any stage of their career, wherever they live.
When fully operational, Careers NSW will provide a wrap-around service to:
- provide tailored career guidance
- Identify educational pathways and qualifications that match clients to the skills they need for their career
- Connect clients with Industry Experts from their industries of interest so the Experts can provide insight into the skills clients need to succeed.
The pilot program was launched in mid-October 2021 with the full-service model due to be launched mid-2022. The creation of Careers NSW follows a recommendation from the review of the NSW vocational education and training sector, led by Mr. David Gonski AC and Professor Peter Shergold AC.
